Life isn’t always about those dark raging clouds and the flashing bolts. It’s about the moist petrichor that fills us later! The petrichor that fills life with vivid and stimulating colours. Acts as the brush and paints the canvas of life with the splendid beauty of hues of joy. With masterstrokes of punctilious and fastidious trying to make it paradisiacal.

Some cracks define you better,

Some mishaps build you stronger,

Some fractures make you fight harder,

Some bewitching moments of days with expectancy, fantasy and drama,

Some witching hours of nights with vigil obscurity and anonymity!

Because the sun has to set for the moon to rise,

Because the light has to dim for the stars to shine,

Because the pain has to conquer for the smile to gleam,

Because the wounds have to heal for the soul to zeal!

It’s hard, it really is, to believe that not every dark shadow is sinister, to believe that some embraces aren’t lethal. Though, we fall for their pretentious dark side every time, as the authentic world is a fey!

After all, life isn’t as bright as it was, when our little sparkly eyes saw only lush greens and pink blossoms!

It has turned into a forged sphere with falsity, deceit and stratagem while our little sparkly eyes with illusion of pearl turned into mere frangible pieces of glass. The glass that bled tears of ignorance, sorrow, demise and distress; the blood which was once coeval with odium, now doesn’t even look for something shoddy.

Such is the power of optimism that curates the entire biography! The power that is decorous and deserved only for the acquiescent; that belittles the lethal gloom and rekindles the perennial flame; that engenders the culpable notion and ruminates the euphoria!
