Tranquil

Tangerine blossoms on the shallow sands of my heart
Carving out transient footsteps of compassion and trust.
Turning grey skies to cerulean blues
As deep as the colossal oceans.
Filling some hidden voids, somewhere near the epicenter
Sowing seeds of brightness in the dark field.
Touching the soil like first raindrops-paradisal and cosmic;
Satiating the deepest thirsts with torrential showers.
Like the cool shadow beneath a dense canopy-
Protecting the first sapling with utmost care and love.
Like a mother's tender but pragmatic kiss
Much awaited but yet so far away and bliss.
Like the waves of the sea growing towards the shore
Just to have one last sight of homeliness.
Like the fluffy clouds floating in the vast sky
With a pearl-like moon, gaping from above!
"Life's like an hourglass glued to the table
And we're like cars on a cable”
No one can find the rewind button
No one can turn the tables around the sides.
Or maybe only I can!
Maybe only I can do that.
But maybe I shouldn't!
Maybe the stars shouldn't be twisted-
Because destiny never changes it's mind, it changes yours!
Because the raindrops have the exact amount of magic in the glances of those eyes,
Because the sun peeping from the trees says the exact words you need to hear,
Because the little periwinkles want to share the same aroma that you feel therein,
And that's all what makes the winds lighter, the smiles brighter and all the difference!
